The Sabbats are the wiccan holidays. There are eight of them throughout the year. Each one is different and marks a different part of the year and a symbol of representation.
Samhain- Samhain, pronounced (Sowen) is on october 31st and represents the new wiccan year. Samahain is the time when the veil between our world and the realm of the dead is the thinnest and this is the time when you would invite your deceased ancestors back to pay them respect and love.
Yule- The winter solstice is on December 21st. It is the time when the day is dark for the longest.
Imbolc- February 2nd. Imbolc is the celebration to represent fertility between the Goddess and the God. It is a celebration of renewal and good fortune throughout the next year!
Spring Equinox- March 21. This is the time when spring is first coming. It represents growth and life. This is the time when you get your gardens ready and celebrate spring.
Beltane- May 11th. This is the celebration of love! What else needs to be said.
Summer Solstice- June 21. The say when daylight lasts the longest.
Lammas- August 1st. Now is the time to prepare your plants to be harvested. It is the time when autumn is coming.
Fall Equinox- September 21. Now is when the crops are being harvested form the fields and people are preparing for Samhain, for the new year, for winter.
The Wiccan Rede

This symbol, the triquetra represents the three fold law. It also represents the three stages of a women's life, maiden, mother, and crone. It is a common symbol in Wicca
Altar
This is a pretty standard pagan altar. Usually pagan altars or altars of practicing witches have a few candles, a pentacle, an athame and wand, inense and bowls upon it. Sometimes there are also crystals and other protection symbold, along with herbs and oils, sometimes even crystal balls or tarot decks.

Crystals, though most people think they are just pretty rocks used in jewelry, actually contain an energy of their own which can be used for many purposes. They also have properties that many people manipulate to use as health benefits. Crystals are quite powerful and mroe remarkable than most people give them credit for.

Candles play a huge part in witchcraft. Certain colors mean specific things, like a red candle is for romance, a white candle is for protection, and so on. If a spell doesn't call for any candles, you can add candles that correspond to the spell for better success!

This is an image of a woman who is trying out crystal therapy, a true form of therapy to ease one's body and help restore the natural chakras. Many people go to trained professionals who know how each crystal works in alleviating tension and how it affects the body. Witchcraft is mainly dealing with what science cannot identify as legit and making it work.
the Moon in Magick
Now the moon has been a central aspect of magick and pagan traditions for centuries. It has its own power and the cycles of it influence many people's practices. Wicca, witchcraft, magick, paganism, they all revolve around the moon to a certain degree.
Number of visits
Herbs also play a large role in witchcraft. They can be used in all sorts of ways from cooking, potions, additions to spells, etc. As important as they are, that doesn't mean that they aren't dangerous! If you don't know what an herb is, then find out before you intake it in any way, shape, or form! If you mess with the wrong plant, you could die!
